Nancy Goff is an imaginative painter and writer who is driven by a passion for self-expression.  Her works are often noted for their unique style, elegance and technique. She blends precise realism with impressionism.

Nancy began her painting career using oils.   She is also challenged and excited when working with pastels.  Because of that, Goff has been teaching pastel for ten years. She enthusiastically shares her knowledge and enjoys watching her students blossom.

Always creative, Nancy Goff wrote and published a memoir titled “Ramblings of a widow”. It is a small light hearted essay written for people who are alone.  “Ramblings” is one more step in her creative journey.

Nancy worked professionally for many years as a Graphic Artist.  She was the manager of Graphic Arts and Product Development at Keith Clark, Inc. in Sidney, NY. Goff has received numerous awards in New York and Florida. She is proud to be a member of the prestigious Pastel Society of America, NYC.  Her work has been purchased for private and public collections here and abroad.

A new resident in Sarasota, Florida, Nancy Goff is a member of Women Contemporary Artist and The Fine Arts Society of Sarasota. She teaches classes and workshops at the Art Center of Sarasota and Longboat Key Center for the arts. She also gives private lessons.

“If there is a message in my paintings, whether the subject is children or landscape or still life, it is to be positive. Think positive. See positive.

I use the light as a ray of hope. It is a joyous experience.”
